FAT UK

So the government are telling us in the UK that we are getting fatter and fatter. It really gets my goat because it is so much cheaper to buy a large big mac meal then it is to have a nice healthy meal. I think they should be putting higher taxes on fattenign food and make healthy food more affordable. For me, if I could buy a load of strawberries or blueberries etc for the same price as a bar of chocolate I would 100% choose the berries 9 times out of 10. The government really should step in and sort this fatty mess out.

Also, in the news recently they are talking about wind power etc and that it is going to put an additional £200 or something on top of what we currently pay. Again, as above, surely the government should be encouraging ways to help the environment and make more environmentally friendly things more affordable.

But for now, it seems easier to ruin this earth and be fatty fat fat!

F U Hayfever!

Symptoms:
Itchy eyes
Itchy nose
Constant sneezing
Nose running
Heavy breathing
Irritability levels increased to 100%
Nose bleeds

Taken:
Optrex
Beconase or Flixonase
Neoclarityn, Clarityn, Zirtek, Tesco own, Boots own
Cold flannel on head

Feeling:
Still shit and irritable and been suggested to close all windows at night but too hot!

Too much complaining? Can I get a head transfusion? or at minimum new pair of eyes and a nose?

They really need to find a cure - all meds out there help reduce the symptoms a bit but not enough!

All hayfever sufferers I feel for you - those that don't have it are lucky and just don't understand - Sufferers

Any suggestions welcome :)

I'll take this moment to say a massive congratulations to all who were nominated, highly commended and most importantly to the winners. Everyone (that I know) worked really hard this past year and are most deserved of their achievements.

Twitter Giggle

Saw this on b3ta and it made me giggle. Enjoy!

a4uawards

In the industry I work in they have annual awards. I have been shortlisted for Best Account Manager for the year! I am delighted to be nominated and I can't deny it - it would be great to win, however the competition is tough. I want to wish everyone the best of luck especially Hannah at Existem. I met Hannah on a train on the way to Bristol for the Roadshow events last year. Hannah was unknown to me then but now I would be surprised if the whole industry does not know who she is, what make her camera is and what she likes to drink!?! The full list of all the awards are here. Again, best of luck to everyone and needless to say the night itself is going to be a cracker.

West Ham vs Liverpool

I went to Upton Park on Saturday to watch West Ham vs Liverpool. It was great to sit in the away section with all the Liverpool fans. The atmosphere is just great. There was a guy behind me shouting all sorts of abuse at the West Ham fans, the referee and at times our own players! I was surprised he started as the first whistle went but then again, it was a 5.30pm kick off! There was another guy down a row and to the right who was singing and started singing a lot of the songs. He was probably the loudest clapper in the world and I laughed everytime he screamed 'Fucking Sing It' while almost popping a vein. I applaud the effort but he was a bit irritating!
There is always good fun and songs being sung between the home and away fans but as we went one nil up after 1 min 40 seconds the Hammers were a bit more quiet. Stevie G got his 2nd after 37 mins and that helped to bring a close to an enjoyable 1st half. Second half was a bit slower as we seemed to rest up a bit but we still managed a 3rd. It's great to see how well Liverpool are performing this season and a shame United will probably take the league but hey - next season I really believe we will challenge them even more.
Here's a few pics from the day.

Also, since the game I can't stop singing this:

Celeb Spot

Is this really worthy of saying Celeb?! While half asleep on my way to work - walking through St. Pancras I saw some people filming a guy in a leotard. There's me thinking who wears that these days! There's only one person! Is he making a comeback!?!?
Ah well good luck to you Mr.Motivator. Too much energy too early in the morning!
